Files Management

DVW Files can be imported into DVMate by the Import DVW Files button on the Match Screen. They can also be imported as attachments in email messages in the iPad Mail app.

  1. Tap on attachment
  2. Select Copy to DVMate

  2. Tap AirDrop button
  3. Select iPad to send DVW file to

  1. Right click on DVW file
  2. In popped up menu select Share
  3. Select AirDrop
  4. In AirDrop window, select the iPad to send DVW file to. DVW on the selected iPad will import the file automatically to its database


Copy Files to DVMate Documents Folder using Files App

  1. Run Files app
  2. Select location of files to be copied
  3. Tap and hold file and select Copy
  4. Select On My iPad
  5. Select DVMate folder
  6. In Documents folder, tap and hold to bring up the context menu and select Paste


Match videos and VERT data files can be imported in to DVMate Documents folder for use within the app. You can use the Files app on the iPad to import files that are on accessible by the iPad but if these files are stored on a computer, then they can be imported as follow.

Attach the iPad to a Windows PC and run iTunes

  1. Select iPad
  2. Select File Sharing option
  3. Select DVMate in list of apps
  4. Drag and drop files into DVMate Documents folder

  1. Select iPad in Finder
  2. Select and expand DVMate folder and drop files to be imported into folder

Apple provides no progress feedback when you are transferring a large file like a match video. You can test by trying to collapse the folder. If there is no response, then the file is still being transferred. Once the transfer is completed you will see it’s listed in the folder.
